The DITTA Standardisation (STA) Working Group’s purpose is to identify and explore ways to improve the international process of developping standards. The DITTA STA WG promotes the use of international standards to support regulatory framework in the domain medical technology, with the goal of increasing stability, predictability, clarity and technological neutrality to the benefit of all stakeholders involved.

• Act as the high-level body within the association to develop DITTA’s position and strategy at the global level on the harmonization of international standards
• Advise the DITTA Board and Steering Committee on international standards matter
• Monitor trends at the global level for potential issues in the future that may require the development of an international standard
• Identify and support international standards to IMDRF and AHWP and other organisations as appropriate
